About
Mike and I have been married for over 40 years. We have always been outdoor people. We grew up in the same small town on the Tennessee River, and later moved to another small Tennessee town to raise our children. There were so many beautiful places where we lived, and we loved taking our children camping. There is nothing like eating bacon, eggs, and fried potatoes out in the woods. Sitting around a fire with your children, kayaking down a river, having a leaky tent and everyone getting wet, those are the happiest memories.
In 2008, we moved to Houston, TX. Camping was quite a bit different in Texas, but we still loved it. Texas has so many different regions to explore, and each region is so varied. We really enjoyed camping in the hill country of Texas.
In 2020, we traded tent camping and our house for a 27’ Airstream Globetrotter to begin a life working from the road and exploring the US. Other than having our wonderful children, this has been the best thing we have ever done. We have had a lot of friends and family ask about the places we have been and what we have learned from traveling full time. That has brought us to create a website to provide a place to share the things we have learned and the places we have had the opportunity to explore. We hope our website provides you a look at full time travel and information on places you might like to visit.
